“Another Future falls behind the One I had in mind”
– Concrete Blonde.
“My favorite song lyric! It also seemed to be the pattern of my life. Even though deep inside I’ve always known I was an artist, I just never had the self-confidence to pursue my dream. That all changed in 2016 when I decided to walk away from my 20-plus-year business in sign making, pack up my life and move to San Antonio. Now working out of Hausmann Millworks, a wonderful community of like-minded vibrant young artists, I feel I have found a home. As an artist, I am always searching for new and exciting ways to express my creativity in visual form. Current expressions are acrylic on canvas geared toward ʻshades of greyʼ, usually with a shot of color thrown in for that extra POP!
My mind and soul are starting to open up to new and exciting imagery that I just pray I can give justice to. So I break out the paint, open up the mind…and let the journey begin!”
