Tranquility. 2016 Glass beads, embellished pendant, wire.

“My artful jewelry is a reflection of my culture and heritage—Hispanic! We are a happy group and very colorful in our lifestyles. The time I spend creating is my therapy over the loss of my husband, Jay. After taking a psychology of color class I have learned that I am healing through the use of the colorful beads! I have been fortunate to have been recognized by BeadStyle Magazine several times for my jewelry. I have taught classes in Tucson at the largest bead show in the country and have been a part of the Parawire Booth where I demonstrated techniques using their wire and tools. I have been the president of the San Antonio Bead Society and am presently president of the Texas Business Women of San Antonio. I believe in giving back to my beautiful community by serving on local boards. I am a graduate of Thomas Jefferson, and am very happy to be back home—living in my Mom and Dad’s older home at 814 Cincinnati!”
